Art Therapy Lab International Summer Residency, Kuldīga, Latvia.

In August 2024 I took part in Art Therapy Lab International Summer Residency at Studija Space Kuldīga, Latvia, organised by Julia Volonts, LCAT, ATR-BC and Maija Rudovska with Annemarie Reichenbach and Linda Boļšakova. I was one of 13 international participants exploring the intersection of eco-therapy and contemporary art.

A welcoming space to meet new friends and participate in equally relaxing and challenging workshops — a generous opportunity to disconnect and reconnect. I was curious to know more about art therapy, building on Sisters Hope (2022), my collaboration together with my sister Andra — our playful process and what we called the ‘power of action’ (to generate hope) continues to inspire and guide me daily.
